Pioneer Pony Baseball

Upland, CA

On behalf of Upland Pony Baseball and myself I would like to thank you for attending our tryouts this year and introducing us to Your Invention. To say that we were all amazed by the Straight Shooter Baseball Launcher would be an understatement. Not only did the "Straight Shooter" baseball launcher greatly increase our Productivity during our Tryouts the Shooter was so efficient we cut hours off our allotted Tryout Time.

Since our Tryouts we have received call after call inquiring about the Straight Shooter and when it would be available for Purchase. We Hope very Soon! Finally someone has taken a good idea and turned it into something that works. The lightweight and durability of the Straight Shooter makes it a must for our Coaching Staff and part of our everyday Practice Equipment.

Thanks Again,

Dennis Butcher, .................................................................................................................................................................... ........ Upland Pioneer Pony Baseball

Deer Canyon Little League

Alta Loma CA

Dear Mr Ogren,

On Behalf of Deer Canyon Little League, thank you for Demonstrating the Straight Shooter during our Tryouts. Every one of our Managers in the Majors, Minors and Junior Divisions were Impressed with your Product and they were all thrilled that someone finally found a simple and Practical Way to Consistently Launch Fly Balls.

I was most Impressed by the Huge Time Savings our league realized by using the straight shooter during our Player Tryouts. We have more than 150 Players in the Majors, Minors and Juniors, and as part of our Tryouts, we have to send at least 4 fly balls to each of them. Even our most Skilled Coaches could not compete with the Consistency of the Straight Shooter. The Result no more Shanked fly balls that Bog down the process and result in delays and frustrated Parents & Players. More Importantly, the coaches were able to fairly evaluate the Skill Level of the Players as you moved them around with Perfectly Placed Fly Balls.

I am Left with one Question ... Where do I get one?

Thanks Again, Deer Canyon Little League

For those of us who Battle Field Space the Straight Shooter is Great. It allows Outfielders to work on Fly Balls and catchers to work on Pop Ups. I recommend the straight Shooter to best Utilize your practice Time.

USATravelBall.com Skills Videos

#1 Choice for CA Travel Teams

John, Finally got my Hands on the Straight Shooter to use During our Skills Video Shoots. We have the most Intense set of Drills we put Players through to Capture that Perfect Video to send off to the College Coach. Our Videos are helpings 100's of Players to secure Scholarship Money. This is our 4th Year in Business and the one thing that WASTES Time is when we work the Outfield Players through their Drills. I have looked Everywhere to find a Device that would Launch Consistent Fly Balls for my Outfield Drills. 50% Accuracy is the best I can get from Every Coach I have ever worked with and that numbers in the 100's. We have Filmed over 1000 High School Players and when I think of the Hundreds of Hours I could have saved My Question is John What took you so Long??

What Kills my Outfield Drills is the Fact the Players have to Chase Down Fly Balls to show their Speed and Form. Every Time a Coach Misfires and Runs a Player to a Ball she has no Chance of getting it Exhausts the Player Out Quickly before I can get the necessary shots for the Video. It adds Valuable Time and the 5-6 Shots I need take 12-15 Full Speed Runs that Tires Players quickly. The Straight Shooter now allows me to tell that Player Exactly Where the Ball will be to get Quality Shots every Time. If these Players do not Look Fresh Every Play I have not done my Job.

I was at Our Sports Complex in San Dimas recently Filming an Outfielder, we Shot 5-6 Sky High Fly balls when we realized she did not know how to Frame the Catch. We almost Bounced a Ball off her Head when her Coach saw the same thing. Corrected it on the Fly and Completed the Drill.

Girls Varsity Softball

Brooklyn, New York

Dear John,

I just have to say, this is the best softball help I ever saw. My team uses this device at all their practices both for outfield and infield work. There is nothing to take it's place. We are able to simulate a batter and direct a hit ball anywhere we want and repeat the hit as often as we want. We are so glad we bought this unit.

Thank you. Yours truly,

Barbara

This is a great product, just got one for my son (13 years old) and it really works. Rare to see a product that works exactly as advertised in the videos. Another father came over on the field and he is going to order one. In High School a good outfielder is very valuable & this is the way to develop them."

 John,
I have been trying to play catch and bat with the 3 grandsons these past summers. They are 16, 13, and 12 and I just don't present enough of a challenge to their skills any more. Their dad is recovering from a rotator cuff tear and he can't throw with any force either. They suggested a machine, but I wanted something that was portable, didn't need a power source, and affordable.

I went to our sports outlets here in Sioux Falls, but they didn't have anything that met our needs, nor could they direct me to any specific source. So I went to the internet and searched ball throwers, ball tossers, and baseball/softball accessories. I tried coaches training aids, and various other descriptions but always came up with pitching machines or tennis ball throwers.

Then I googled ball launchers and there you were. I watched the video, read the testimonials, asked the kids what they thought and they told me that it was a no brainer what had to be done.

I am just thankful that my grandkids were persistent and encouraged me to keep looking. Thanks again for your dedication to the game, and the kids that play it, and for developing what appears to be a great solution for a super training aid!
